BEDROOM FURNITURE

The bedroom is the place where we should rest, reflect on the day, and dream about what's to come and what has happened. A place where we meet our other half. That's why we pay special attention to bedroom furniture and will help you create an oasis of calm according to your wishes.

It's no secret that the bedroom is the most important and demanding area of any home. It's the place where you rest, where you laze around, where you regain your strength. For these reasons, the bedroom must be cosy, soothing and furnished with all the essentials. This article will describe the furniture needed for a comfortable and cosy bedroom.

Main furniture - bed

If you're into Scandinavian minimalism, you're perfectly free to put a single bed in your bedroom, and that's enough to show off the room's décor and to give you a rest. The bed is undoubtedly the most significant piece of furniture in the bedroom, and it would be hard to imagine the room itself without it. After all, the word 'bedroom' is closely linked to the word 'sleep', and sleeping is not just about sleeping in a bed.

But the question often arises - what kind of bed should I choose? There is no clear answer, but the most important thing is that the furniture should last a long time and be durable. It is advisable not to be afraid of investing more in a piece of sleep furniture, as a bed is an essential piece of furniture that ensures the quality of your sleep.

In fact, it would be more than rational to choose a bed made of wood. A wooden frame and a wooden bedding box are the signs of a good bed. Wood is not only a very natural material for making furniture, but it is also long-lasting and high quality. Wood is suitable for a wide range of interiors, as it gives a feeling of lightness and naturalness, and if it is used in the Scandinavian minimalism step already discussed, this type of interior will create a warm and cosy room.

It is advisable to choose a bed with plenty of space - the more space, the better the sleep. However, before choosing a bed, it is extremely important to first measure the perimeter of the room - avoid buying a bed without knowing exactly whether it will fit in your sleeping area. It is advisable to leave at least 50 cm of space between the walls and the bed to ensure free and comfortable movement in the room, otherwise movement will be restricted.

.... and other furniture

A single bed in a room, no matter how ornate, can also create a feeling of inferiority, which is why it's important to make room for other furniture in the bedroom. For example, it's rare to find a bedroom without a wardrobe. Naturally, the bedroom is not only a place to rest, but also to prepare for the working day. Keeping your clothes (and other things) in a wardrobe will help you keep your room tidy and comfortable.

But here again, the question is what kind of wardrobe to choose? You will never be disappointed when you choose a wardrobe made of wood. Lightweight construction, a variety of cabinet sets and the possibility to embellish your wooden cabinet with different carvings will make your room feel good. And there is no need to worry about the effects of moisture on the cabinet - there are various chemicals available today that can really help you deal with the protection of your furniture. Of course, you can also break up the wardrobe in the room by choosing shelves and cupboards or even a chest of drawers. This choice of smaller furniture will not only save space but also create a corresponding feeling of spaciousness. Especially if you frame a mirror in the wardrobes or in the wardrobe itself, the bedroom will visually expand and enlarge. This trick is particularly useful for owners of small bedrooms.

You can hardly do without bedside tables next to the bed. It's an indispensable piece of furniture on which you can keep a book, a small floor lamp or flowers. Bedside tables are usually combined with the main piece of furniture - the bed. It is important that the tables do not differ too much in colour or materials.

If your bedroom is spacious and can accommodate more than just the essentials, it is advisable to 'tuck in' an armchair. It is a piece of furniture that gives an unmistakable feeling of grace and grandeur and can also be used extensively. After all, it's so much fun to sit down in this piece of furniture, light the nearby floor lamp and enjoy a quiet evening with a book. In fact, the armchair can be the main accent in the room, giving the interior a sense of completeness and unity. Here you can experiment with texture, the shape of the piece of furniture or even turn the armchair into an interesting composition.
