<\/p>\nAlready last year, at the exhibition \"Furniture Interior Design 2019\\\", held in Vilnius, Litexpo Exhibition Centre, it was possible to find hints that in 2020, the direction of interior design will change - from the restrained Scandinavian style towards rounded shapes, combining different styles and materials, colourfulness, and the focus will be on improving the interior of the human work environment.<\/p>\n

In these times of digitalisation, it is no surprise to find work outside the office, and society's attitudes towards work are changing, along with the concept of the interior workspace. In order to prevent work in standard offices from becoming mechanical, it is recommended to personalise workspaces, creating a home-like atmosphere, but taking into account the specifics of the company and the needs of employees.<\/p>\n Photo source: https:\/\/officesnapshots.com<\/a><\/p>\n Round furniture is popular for the second year in a row, and plants in lounge areas are proving to be very useful, because the more greenery you have in a space, the cosier and more pleasant it is. Working indoors all day and seeing only a computer screen can be exhausting, both physically and psychologically, so natural colours, materials and greenery are a real source of relaxation.<\/p>\n The home \\\"office\\\" must be compact, e.g. built-in wardrobes, where you can fit a lot of stuff while leaving space in the room. When designing the interior of an office, wherever it is, the workspace solutions should be flexible, with a modern design with an inspiring and productive atmosphere.<\/p>\n In 2018, we presented our Art Deco living room furniture at Imm Cologne 2018 in Cologne, Germany. That year, it was one of the more daring interior design solutions that is gaining momentum in 2020.<\/p>\n Photo source: https:\/\/lt.lt.allconstructions.com<\/a><\/p>\n Art Deco is dominated by curved lines, wildlife, stylised animals, etc. It is a combination of colours, line shapes, different materials, with decorative elements, luxury elements and classical elements.<\/p>\n In general, France, Southern Europe or England have different tastes to Scandinavia or Eastern Europe, but the common feature of 2020 is more colour, boldness and openness in interiors.<\/p>\n This year, there is a strong emphasis on creating new office spaces that are all about collaboration and teamwork, with a focus on tailoring the environment to individual needs. That's why offices are not shying away from colour and accents. One source suggests that the colour for 2020 is the classic blue, the colour of business, a symbol of simplicity and elegance, associated with peace and health. And, for example, at the Paris event in January \\Maison & Objet<\/a> At the Home Decor & Design Show, warm shades of green were more prominent. Natural motifs in the interior create a relaxing and calming atmosphere. It can be in variegated wallpaper, wall hangings, table lamps with branch-shaped stands, etc. It is not clear what influences people's desire to be closer to nature, whether it is the impact of global warming or the high level of busyness, but for several years now, the trend has been towards natural colour motifs in interiors.<\/p>\n Furniture in the style that was popular in the middle of the last century can be safely combined with wicker wardrobes, armchairs or sofas. Wicker items add texture to a space and update the interior. And it's outdated to say that you can't mix light and dark wood furniture in an interior. In 2020, it's even the other way around - a wooden floor, a coffee table and a chest of drawers can have different tones.<\/p>\n This year, marble in different shades should be kept in mind when redecorating your home. This material is most often used in large rooms or kitchens, but it can also be used as a minimalist interior detail, a table surface or similar.<\/p>\n Another trend this year is metal products and their different shades. Brass, chrome, black metal, copper or stainless steel are all on trend. It can be a small piece of furniture or an accent in a piece of furniture, such as the legs of a chair or bedside table, a light fitting, the metal fronts of kitchen cupboards etc.<\/p>\n The fabric of 2020, not only in fashion but also in interiors, is velvet. Velvet sofas or armchairs add a chic and luxurious touch to interiors.
