It's probably nothing new to say, but the trend towards sustainability - investing in durable furniture that can be renewed, restored or transformed over the years - is still there in 2024. High-quality materials are used, colours and individuality are dominant.
The interiors of 2024 are dominated by "quiet luxury", with dark woods, luxurious textures and traditionally-shaped furniture that can change over the decades - with updated upholstery. The use of rich browns and high quality fabrics and vintage lighting are becoming popular.

Earth tones continue to be popular, and dark wood panel walls are making a comeback, creating warmth and cosiness. Warmer, characterful shades, artisanal pieces, silver and glass accents dominate the interior.

Mixing textures is also very welcome in home design. For example, plaster walls mixed with wooden floors or ceilings, or vice versa. Playing with textures in the interior creates individuality and luxury.
The environment around us must be, like life, full of colour and texture.
